Wow! We never had such a warm welcome or such kind staff. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms are quite comfortable. Some have nice views of the town or harbor. Hydra is beautiful and the hotel is within walking distance of the harbor. The hotel is much more attractive than in the Booked.net photo.
There were 4 in our party of all different ages and we all agreed it was one of the best hotels we have booked. They were true to form in everything they offered and even surprises that we did not expect. The studio was ideal for us and the large terrace was a bonus to watch the sunset in the evenings. We loved the hominess and professionalism of the staff but they were so atune to everyones needs. We wanted for nothing and were pleased to no end that they guided us on our daily trips for sightseeing and dining pleasure. Every breakfast at the hotel greeted us with fresh fruit and a daily special to go along with the other courses. Our stay was fantastic and we would love to return. Cudos to Jenny and Theo!
The staff hotel is really nice, the owners are charming, the location is excellent and we liked it very much
Mistral is a pearl of a hotel in beautiful surroundings. The owners are very kind, you feel like coming home! The well-tasting breakfast is served in a lovely garden. Will definitely go back!
Mistral Hotel is a true gem! The breakfasts are amazing - I would go so far as to say it's the best hotel breakfast ( and especially best home made croissant ) I have ever had. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and genuine in all their interactions. The standard room was a good size and the location great - it is removed from the port and hence quiet yet only a 5 minute walk away from the port's restaurants et al.
The only minor thing I would change would be to have wireless also available in the rooms. It is freely available in the lounge/lobby area and garden, which does make for a relaxing environment.
Theo prepared the most amazing breakfasts; each morning there was some special pastry or sweet that he had prepared for the guests. The tomato feta omelete was divine, and versus a buffet, @ the Mistral friendly staff served you.
Calm hotel in a beautiful setting. Fantastic breakfast.
Very small bathroom for a "superior" room. High price in comparison with the standing of the hotel.
Warm hospitality, good location, calm, home made huge breakfasts, a very friendly and helpful owner, very nice staff, very clean. do not hesitate to spend your vacation in Hydra there.
Really quiet stay in a very nice superior room. Excellent breakfast (close to best I have had in a hotel of any size or class), in a lovely peaceful courtyard. Friendly family owners/staff.
Price - 150 euro per night in Sepember - may have been a little steep during these times.
The very personal service offered by proprietors & staff. They are constantly alert and there to spoil you and make you feel very welcome and comfortable!
It's a well-situated hotel away from the harbour and is family run at its best: very friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms, excellent breakfasts.
It was delightful, the staff was incredibly hospitable and helpful.
Friendly staff, perfect breakfast, very good location and spacious rooms... We relaxed and enjoyed our holiday in a magnificient and friendly hotel. I definitely recommend it. If we go to Hydra again, this hotel will be our first and only choice...
The room was very comfortable and the breakfast in the garden was a feast that we looked forward to each day.
We have been at the Mistral with our two kids. We've got a fabolous room in teh attic, very spacious and confortable, with a beautiful terrace. The staff hav been incredibly helpful: thre was a strike of all Farryes the day we arrived, but they managed to arrange alternative transportation so we could arriived on the planned day.
